final week

Today we stayed in college until 8pm working on all the post production editing.

Today 15/04/10 was the last day before the deadline and we were finishing off the editing in final cut pro and burning our animation on to a DVD…. we got it done though in time and on the DVD

week 9

in the past couple of weeks we have been arranging our time – time to go and capture all the scenes with camera, time for trouble-shooting, time for editing and also time to research of music.

Today we had a meeting with Matt, during the weeks off KellyAnn and I met up and shot most of the scenes.

Today we showed Matt some of the final scenes of our animation. But we will be reshooting 2 scenes as we need a tripod.So today we have one and we know which scenes to retake.

The both of us ran through which music we will choose for final finish. We have decided on some tunes/backingtracks from garageband which are working well with animation. KellyAnn has been researching more music while i continue to take more photos.

KellyAnn and I attended the meeting.

We took Roy with us. Happy with how Roy was made, we had agreement with Matt.

We planned creating a scene, but with no access to a camera. So after the meeting we drew up a technical script and decription. And took our own photos and put a scene together.

week 7

Talked with Matt about what we have left to do. Then we made our character. before we made him we researched what kind of materials we required.

When we bought the play doh material I sat down and sculpted our character

Today we had group meeting with Matt. we discussed the feedback from the presentation with Matt.

We bought the model materials.We put together the detailed description and I drew our mock up of what our character and what he is going to be like.

Group Project week 5

This week we had our presentation. we got a lot of good feed back on our new concept… And this week we are planning on shooting our first scene and making the actual model.

Today we discussed what to show in our presentation and also started development on our promo scene.

Group Project week 3

After sitting down with Kelly Ann and Emma, we discussed the practicality and feasibility creating our original idea… after long discussion we decided that we had to change our concept of our animation. So instead of doing our original idea, we are now going to creating a clay model. and build a story around him.

The story will be about a boy called ‘Roy’ who attends ITB, but he finds everything a bit more difficult as he has a disability of being made out of clay.

we will be using 15FPS unless we come to a scene that requires more or less, depending on the movement of the character.

This week we will souse the materials and begin planning the story line.

Group project week 2

In week two I had to meet with Matt on my own. We discussed further details about the given essay. we also covered what had to be done in the coming week, in setting out a scene from the animation and finalizing the story line.
